The Patient Transportation Service - Ambulances 111 - is a company belonging to the group, specifically designed for renal patients in hemodialysis treatment transportation. The company also provides services to Hospitals, local Health Centres, Nursing Homes, among others.
Our team consists of approximately 220 employees, highly qualified, with professional training in the following areas: Internal Training in Interpersonal Relationships, The HD patient and Quality Training.
The Patient Transportation Service has adopted a Integrated Management System- Quality and Environment - acknowledged by TÜV-Product Service GmbH since 2003.
We guarantee the quality of the service that we provide and we abide by the laws into effect. The service has permit for Ambulance patient transportation, issued by the Portuguese National Institute of Medical Emergency.
Our service reaches almost the entire country. Our head office is in Cascais and activity in the cities of Lisboa, Porto, Faro, Portimão, Torres Novas, Entroncamento, Abrantes e Portalegre.
We have a fleet of 85 vehicles:
- 58 Ambulances type A2;
- 34 Ambulances type A1;
- 8 Ambulances type B;
- 1 Ambulance type C.
Ambulance Characteristics:
- 5 or 7 person vehicles;
- Space for wheelchair, with seatbelt;
- Wheelchair ramp;
- Side door access, with support bar;
- Individual seats with seatbelt;
- Air conditioning;
- Background music;
- Centralised automatic vehicle localisation through GPS.
