Multifiltrate

The monitor for Continuous Treatment of Renal Replacement, Multifiltrate, allows for various treatments such as CVVH (Hemofiltration), CVVHD (Dialysis), CVVHDF (Hemodiafiltration), SCUF (Slow Ultrafiltration) when treating Acute Renal Failure.

It also allows the execution of plasma replacement tecnhiques (Plasmapheresis) as well as adsorption techniques (Hemoperfusion).

Multifiltrate provides exclusive safe systems, namely the automatic control of the high-precision scales, which rigorously control all of the critical parameters (volume, pressure, flow) associated with different therapies.

The configuration of the Multifiltrate machine and respective accessories allows for a more flexible management of the different events that occur during treatment, namely the partial disposables exchange, which results in a considerable reduction of the treatment costs. Equally, the quantity of handlings by the clinical staff is also significantly reduced as 4 (18L) bags of hemofiltration solutions (dialysis fluid/replacement) and 2 (20L) filtered bags may be used at the same time.

Multifiltrate, as all the Fresenius Medical Care's devices, is characterised by its high reliability, guaranteeing the execution of different therapies with great stability, which is an important factor in treatments in the long term.

Genius90

The Genius90 machine allows for different therapies to be carried out such as CVVHD (Intermittent Dialysis), SLEDD (Slow Dialysis), SCUF (Slow Ultrafiltration), when treating Acute Renal Failure.

The Genius 90 machine is associated to a preparation/filling unit of bicarbonate concentrates for dialysis (different compositions), and with the capacity for the sequential preparation of various monitors.

After filling the tank (90L), the machines are taken to their respective Units where the renal replacement will take place. Therefore it is no longer necessary to have water and drains filling/treatment systems in those same Units.

In comparison to the hemodialysis standard machines usually used for intermittent renal replacement therapies, Genius is characterised by its superior flexibility and adaptability and its competitive treatment costs.
