The New Therapeutic System 5008 is a reflex of our vast experience as a supplier of dialysis technologies, also being the first hemodialysis system developed by the company a dialysis services provider. The 5008 concept was only possible because it involved numerous nurses, technicians and nephrologists from different countries, while having in mind the total satisfaction, amongst professionals and patients. Hence, we created a treatment completely innovative system, developed by users for users!

This therapy system offers, for the first time, the highest treatment quality - ONLINE Haemodiafiltration - with convincingly easy handling and a thoughtful use of the dialysis-relevant resources.

The easy method of online rising and reinfusion means that the 5008 System can be used without industrially-manufactured saline solution, in the preparation of and when carrying out treatments. This translates to inherent economical, logistical and environmental advantages.

The generalised application - at our clinics - of the more efficient and modern renal substitution therapy, Online Haemodiafiltration, , - whenever clinically prescribed - contribute more effectively to the reduction of risks in relation to cardiovascular complications, which is presently the greatest cause of death amongst dialysis patients. In addition to other benefits, blood pressure and anaemia may be more easily controlled, thereby resulting in less inflammation and dyslipidemia.

The 5008 therapy system, together with a range of other premium components, ensures that the clinical benefits of ONLINE HDF are realised in a safe and efficient manner: The superior FX-class® dialysers containing the Helixone® membrane, allowing the controlled removal of a broad spectrum of uremic toxins, while ultrapure dialysate achieved by means of the DIASAFE®plus filters offers a superior safety for the patient.

In addition to the ONLINEplus module for Online Hemodiafiltration therapy, the sophisticated 5008 Therapy System has incorporated the Blood Pressure Monitor (BPM), as well as the Online Clearance Monitoring (OCM). As an option it is possible to integrate the Unipuncture module, the Blood Temperature Monitor (BTM) and the Blood Volume Monitor.
